Gary didn't get the job

Haha, figured I had to update you with the truth after the last post in September. Yep, black-balled again. I think they just like to sucker punch us. The dude who had the final say ended up hiring someone else and said the hell with Gary. I LOVE how much people value our veterans...and how much people want to help them succeed with life after the military. (Note the sarcasm)

Thankfully, another job came along not too long after that one, and Gary started it last week. The pay is decent, the benefits are really good, and it means a new future for our family. Gary will also start school in January in computers.

Everything else is going well. Kallie's enjoying Kindergarten. We're reducing Haley's hours at daycare because Gary's new job is 2nd shift. We do want to keep her in for the socialization and learning, but she will only be going 5 hours per week (two days). We're happy about this decision.

We're now in the process of looking for a rental home. We decided to hault the house hunting altogether. It doesn't make much sense to look for something small and cheap right now. Instead, we'll rent and pay off as much debt as we possibly can in the next two years. Hopefully, by that point we will be pretty close (if not completely) to debt free that way we will be able to afford a NICE house, and not some little podunk.

So, that's what's going on with the Foran Clan. Oh, both girls had their birthdays recently. Kallie is 5 and Haley is 2. Where'd the time go?! Haley had her two year well baby last week and is 33 pounds and 36 inches. The size of a 3 year old! I'm not surprised, you can tell by looking at her that she's huge for her age.
